Shayleen Harris - President
Shayleen is married and has two children, Brooke, 9, and Carson, 2, as well as one angel, Cameryn, who is
the inspiration behind Cameryn’s Cause. After her family’s experience with the illness and death of a child, they
felt that there was a need in the community for some kind of financial assistance to families. Cameryn’s Cause For Kids
Society was the result, incorporated in January of 2007. Shayleen is also employed ¾ time at the Government Agent’s
Office, Service BC.
Sue Kudoba - Vice President
Sue was born and raised in Campbell River. She has been married for nineteen years and has two children.
She is a daycare worker, which is where she met the Harris family. She has cared for all three of their children at
her daycare center. She is involved in many things in the community including the SloPitch Society, Youth Soccer,
minor Baseball and the local SIDS foundation. Sue looks forward to helping many Campbell River Families through Cameryn's
Cause.
Tracy Shelrud - Secretary
Tracy was born and raised in Ontario and moved to Campbell River in1998. She is married with three great children.
Tracy is a registered nurse for home and community care who specializes in Palliative Care. She cared for Cameryn in
the last year of her life. She was asked in December 2005 by the Harris family to be a part of Cameryn's Cause and is
now the secretary for the society.
Trina Robinson-Treasurer
Trina is 37 years old. She and her husband Ernie have been married for fourteen years and are the proud parents
of four wonderful children.. Trina is a busy stay at home mom who participates in many fundraisers in our communtiy.
Trina has been an active member and volunteer for the Canadian Study of Infants Deaths since 1997. She looks forward
to being a member of Cameryns Cause for Kids and hopes to make a difference in our community.
Mason Harris-Director
Mason lives in Campbell River and is the father of Brooke, Carson, and of Cameryn. He, along with his
wife Shayleen started Cameryn's Cause as a way to honour Cameryn and to give back to the community. He is a forester
and is employed as a log broker. Mason has been involved in minor hockey for many years and is currently the coach of
the Midget Tyees.
Mandy Barnes - Director
Mandy has lived in Campbell River for twenty five years and is a stay at home mom to to young boys. She is the
newest member of the Cameryn's Cause board, having joined in September 2007. She and her family and friends also
host the Barnes Boneyard Haunt, a Halloween fundraiser that raises money for Cameryn's Cause. She is proud to be a part
of something that helps to carry out Cameryn's legacy and helps Campbell River families. She looks forward to seeing
Cameryn's Cause grow within the community.
