Cameryn’s Cause For Kids Society is a registered, incorporated
society in the Province of British Columbia. (S-51724) The Society was started by the Harris family to honour the
courageous life of their daughter, Cameryn, who passed away from a SPNET brain tumour at the age of three years old.
Dealing with a health crisis with one’s child involves a
great deal of emotional strength and energy. Coping with financial worries
on top of the pressing emotional issues that a family is already facing can make
the situation even more difficult. Cameryn’s Cause For Kids is an
organization a family can turn to to help ease some of those financial concerns during a child’s health crisis. Whether it is to provide assistance with unexpected travel costs, a place to stay,
or just funds to get a family through while parents are at their child’s side, a little money can go a long way to ease
some of that financial worry. In addition to direct funding, Cameryn’s
Cause can provide information and suggest alternative avenues for families to access other means of financial and emotional
assistance.
