ABOUT US
Cameryn’s Cause for Kids Society is a registered, non-profit society located in Campbell River. It was created to honour the life of Cameryn Harris who passed away in 2003, at age three from a brain tumour. We provide financial assistance to families when they have a child facing a health crisis. The society helps with expenses such as travel costs, special medications and equipment. We also cover funeral expenses in the event of a child’s death.

We are made up of a five person volunteer Board of Directors as well as an office administrator and a fundraising co-ordinator.

To date, we have dispersed more than $350,000.00 to approimately 300 local families in crisis.

All of our funds are raised through our fundraising efforts and donated by the the business' and individuals in the community. We do not receive any government funding or grants.

Our major fundraising events each year are our Annual Halloween Event and our Annual Golf Tournament.
