Applying for assistance from Cameryn’s Cause is a straightforward process.
First, ensure that you meet our criteria:
Your child is 18 years old or younger.
Your child resides in the Campbell River (School District 72) area.
If you qualify, please print the application form, complete it fully, and ensure it has all necessary signatures. You can return it to us via email, fax, or in person.
At this time we do not provide funding for pre-natal care expenses.
We do not cover expenses for travel for dental care or surgeries.
Important Reminders:
Fill out all fields on the form.
Provide the dates for your length of stay. This is a crucial part of information we need to calculate the amount of funding.
A new application must be submitted each time you request funding.
List all avenues of assistance you are currently utilizing.
Ensure all required signatures are included.
Incomplete forms will not be reviewed for processing.
If your child is currently in hospital in Nanaimo, Victoria or Vancouver, an on-site social worker can help you complete the application process as well as provide you with information about additional avenues of funding.
Funding is issued by cheque and can only be issued to the legal parent or guardian.

If you are working with a funeral home, we can work with them directly to help with funeral expenses. If you are not working with a funeral home please contact us to apply for assistance.
